The 2030 Agenda is an ambitious action plan to promote prosperity for mankind and for the planet over the coming years.
It was launched in September 2015, when 193 member countries of the United Nations Organization celebrated their commitment to the Agenda, its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its 169 targets.
But achieving the SDGs does not depend solely on governments. The solution necessarily involves a private sector capable of and willing to invest its human resources and capital in addressing a challenge of this magnitude. This is also the vision of the Brazilian ceramic tile industry.
Given its stature, the Brazilian ceramic tile sector is capable of contributing to a number of the Sustainable Development Goals.
